penang trip to watch the battle of the chef~

Went penang wif khy li and sze thiein last thursday. oh well. it was good i must say.i discovered a lot there. i drove there.as the car below! tinted all the windows. back seat double layered. so it would be much cooler in the car. not as hot la at least.

the jam wasn't too bad actually. got there bout 3 hours plus including we stopped for half an hour at sg.perak for a break wif chef and all. i wasn't speeding though. stayed over at khy li's grandparent's house. tat night we went to eat hawker stall :) of coz.. i'll order the penang char kwey theow to try it out. it was nice :)we went for 3 days 2 night. the last night went to gurney plaza there to gather wif chef and all. we ate damn a lot okay :P

then we went to P.I.S.A penang international sports arena. something liddat.. to watch the battle of the chefs. the exhibition was quite big.

k.. gonna show u all some of the food pics. there are hot cooking in meat. seafood and fish. chocolate carving. fruit carving.styroform design. icing sugar carving.roti canai competation which is pretty interesting. team cooking and more and more and more :D

chef got 4 out of 5's judges attention. 4 of them actually stared at chef when he's cooking. imagine how good chef rex is :D and i think so the sauce tat chef uses is the killing point too. orange sauce. on salmon. wtf rite? but im sure it'll turn out good. he got silver medal in seafood and fish section.this is the gold medalist's food. from genting highland hotel.

then we left in the evening on saturday night. my light damn cool rite? :D im probably the one tat get curse by u all on the road :D

went over to uncle lim's place for their new house warming. awesome man.. damn a lot of ppl attended. but still not as much as dear's cousin de wedding dinner lor. tat one is even crazy. last night it was raining actually but they put a huge top to cover all the tables. so tat everyone can sit down comfortablely and enjoy their food. didnt snap any pic. pai seh mah.. :P

been spending most of the time wif dear's cousin most of the time. errrr.. cant remember some of their names. ee ling or something..a lot a lot more.. confusing lol.. and of coz.. met abbie and toby! haha. very nice guy he is. he's from germany. he speaking very good english. no slange but good english. funny guy he is.looking forward to see him again :) oh yea.. also. i went to sit wif the aunty-aunty. they actually counted my D.O.B and tells me bout my fortune a bit. okay la. quite accurate.. i went to the party wif a total different identity.. should i say.. as a friend of them?? haha..its really really weird when i go there without dear around me. its juz like.. 不请而去. beh paiseh. lol :P but at least i made it. rite debbie? ;) i've never thought i'll get so close wif the family. seriously..

the feeling is kinda weird but warm. dont know how to explain but i can only use weird and warming. haha :D

oh yea.. i've decided to follow my feelings then listening to other ppl's comment. not tat i dun wanna listen to the comments tat all of u made. but i believe i should follow my feelings. thx for all ur comments larh. u agree tat u guys got ur point of view which i agree in most of them. but u know.. feelings.. brought the ticket to adelaide yesterday morning. promotion price larh. acceptable. using my own saving money. non of them from my dad nor mom. now i have to save for living cost. im currently broke :( visa is done

dinner wif kye and his family

went dinner wif khy and his family on sunday. it was okay. not so paiseh coz its not the first time i had dinner wif his family edi. kinda like his family larh.they always come out something interesting to talk about one. so i juz add in some words and crap along! keke.. we went all the way down to klang to makan. wanted to go boston for lala but they closed on tat day.. so we went to eng ann for dinner after tat.

went to pick mom up from shangri-la and went imbi for this tangkak beef noodle intro by rachel. according to her this is a brunch origin from melaka. taste good. mom even praised their noodle tat they have hongkong beef noodle standad

at night i took meiyee hels and wein out for yam cha like we always do last time. feels a bit weird but we had lots of laugh and fun.
