penang trip to watch the battle of the chef~

Went penang wif khy li and sze thiein last thursday. oh well. it was good i must say.i discovered a lot there. i drove there.as the car below! tinted all the windows. back seat double layered. so it would be much cooler in the car. not as hot la at least.

the jam wasn't too bad actually. got there bout 3 hours plus including we stopped for half an hour at sg.perak for a break wif chef and all. i wasn't speeding though. stayed over at khy li's grandparent's house. tat night we went to eat hawker stall :) of coz.. i'll order the penang char kwey theow to try it out. it was nice :)we went for 3 days 2 night. the last night went to gurney plaza there to gather wif chef and all. we ate damn a lot okay :P

then we went to P.I.S.A penang international sports arena. something liddat.. to watch the battle of the chefs. the exhibition was quite big.



k.. gonna show u all some of the food pics. there are hot cooking in meat. seafood and fish. chocolate carving. fruit carving.styroform design. icing sugar carving.roti canai competation which is pretty interesting. team cooking and more and more and more :D

chef got 4 out of 5's judges attention. 4 of them actually stared at chef when he's cooking. imagine how good chef rex is :D and i think so the sauce tat chef uses is the killing point too. orange sauce. on salmon. wtf rite? but im sure it'll turn out good. he got silver medal in seafood and fish section.this is the gold medalist's food. from genting highland hotel.

then we left in the evening on saturday night. my light damn cool rite? :D im probably the one tat get curse by u all on the road :D
